If you have the same problem: boot your version of windows (7) of a recovery disk and go into safe mode, fix it from there. i'm not sure what went wrong, maybe this isn't compatible with my particular version of windows or maybe the wi ndows 7 boot updater is faulty.. Hi guys, installed windows 8 rtm - other than being slower than the win7 install everything was going fine, reboot is required *counts down* computer boots back up, i am offered the new windows 8 startub screen, then it goes black, the monitor knows there is a black signal being sent (not turning off monitors), but nothing loads up at all, any ideas?.
